Just to let everyone know that this is my blog and being my blog, i like to blog the way i like to blog because i blog like that. At any point of time when you can't help but hate my blog, please, don't do anything foolish but you can try the top right hand corner of your screen. Singapore-Indonesia Friendship Camp'08

INDOMIE ALL THE WAY!

Monday

We were all up and ready to leave for the camp by 7a.m. Ms Milhan and Mr Low came along too! We gathered at FAA( Fire Acess Area) and yeap, RS was the most enthusiastic as usual. (: We were divided into groups and met up with our trainer, Marcus!

Played the form-the-longest-line-game-with-items-on-your-body and headed for high elements! Marcus made everyone of us fill our bottle to the brim and drink the whole bottle before we can start with the high elements. Wei Hong win hands down with his 1.5 litre huge bottle! High elements was super fun! Tried Abseiling and Rock Climbing. 3 cheers for JunZe who reached the top!

The Indonesians finally arrived and we went to meet up with them! We were told to choose a buddy of opposite gender so yeap, my buddies are Aldi and Benito! The guys were all too shy to choose their indonesia buddy so we chose for them! Haha! Dinner after that, played around and shower! Slept at around 11plus! (:

Tuesday
Woke up at 7a.m. today and gathered at canteen for breakfast! Did area cleaning and headed to Kallang River for Dragon boating! It was super fun and a totally different experience from kayaking! Our group won both races! I am really proud of everyone as everyone continue to paddle even though we're tired. Nobody gave up! That's why we won. Who's the champion? IndoMie!

Lunch-ed and played around. Started playing with the frisbee and we actually flew one into the water! We went to apologize to Camp Chief and back to games! Hah. While waiting for the rest of the group to make their sandwiches, our group finished up the watermelon! Both trays of watermelon!!! It was finally our turn to make our sandwiches and yeap, as the last group, we finish up everything! Took all the left overs. Lots of banana with bread and margerine! Oh, and one really nice uncle helped us hook up the frisbee that dropped into the river! Thanks Uncle!

Next stop was sentosa! Had Amazing race there and yeap, our group totally enjoyed ourselves there! Built really weird looking sand castle, chase each other around the beach and throwing sand at one another! No doubt, we camp-whored too! Went to lots of places around sentosa and it rained! We stopped at one of the station and guess what? We partied with the bread, margerine and bananas! Camp Chief even brought us 2 huge tin of biscuit. Yeap, we finished the 2 tin of biscuit!

We gathered at the bus station while waiting for our bus to arrive. We practically treat the place like our campsite. Form circles, played games really loudly and we started running around crashing other groups! Hah! Back to campsite, have supper, debriefed and shower! Showered together with CuiPing, Puteri and Peishuan in the open shower! heh!

Wednesday
Breakfast-ed and did area cleaning before heading to Marina Barrage! Showed the indonesians the largest man made reservoir and cam-whored as usual! We started our heritage trail there and headed for Kampung Glam. We started eating ice-cream and practically hodge up the whole ice-cream kart. Headed to little india next then, City Hall. Brought our buddies around shopping and yea, they sure bought lots of stuff! Then we had our dinner at esplanade, enjoying the nice scenic view! Went back and yeap, had supper and debrief before showering! (:

Thursday

We did area cleaning as usual after breakfast! Oh, have i mention where is our area cleaning? Our group's area was the FAA and the whole path till the entrance. There was no litter except for leaves, leaves and more leaves. So we practically sweep the leaves to the side of the path for the past 2 days while other group cleaned toilets and dorm! Heh! And today, we slacked even more! We cam-whored while cleaning! Heh!

Headed to Mustafa after area cleaning and yeap, shop like crazy again! Then, we were suppose to hike at the southern ridges but it rained. We just slacked and eat at the hawker centre opposite Vivo City! Marcus brought our group to have a walk around Vivo as the Indonesians have never been there before. Many of them couldn't resist the temptation of shopping but we were rushing for time and we're actually not allowed to be there, so yeap, no shopping~!

Back to the campsite and prepared for campers night! Our group performance was awesome and so were the others! Everyone was super high, singing, jumping and screaming around! Then, there's this MTV game which require one of each gender to dance. ZiJian and his partner was 1st runner up and Joel and his was first! Can't believe it right. I can't either. I never knew the both of them could dance! Anyway, well done guys! Have had a great time and it was very touching towards the end. We hug each other, have had group hug and many cried! )': We love IndoMie!

Hang around after Campers Night. Played games, listen to Aldi playing guitar. He is good~! Many of them didn't want to sleep but well, riversidians have to leave for debrief at 12.30p.m. So we didn't manage to continue hanging around. ):

Friday
We gathered at FAA after breakfast and have flag lowering. We started taking lots of photos after that! We went totally crazy and jump into groups which were taking photo! So yeap, there are like faces of us in many different cameras! We sure won't be able to get all those photos because we just jumped in without knowing who's camera is that! Oh, did i mention that when one group of us pose for photos, there would be many cameras getting ready to take our photos( Excluding our own cameras)!

We did area cleaning and played around as usual. Played with the black trash bag today! Hah. Then we went into one of the dorm and Marcus presented us our cert! We shared what we feel after the 4 days at camp and yeap, teared~! It was really touching!

Then we had photo viewing and award presentation. IndoMie won the 'MOST ENTHUSIASTIC GROUP' award. 3 cheers! By 11plus, we had to leave the place and it was really sad! Hugged each other for one last time before leaving. ):

I really did enjoyed myself and have had loads of fun! It's definitely one of the best camp i have attended. I have great group members and an awesome trainer! Everyone really bonded so well with one another and genuine friendships were built. We give each other nick names, laugh at each other doing stupid stuff and cam-whored like nobody's business! Will definitely miss everyone from IndoMie. (:
