I was talking to jinger today about how much i dread writing chinese compo because of my poor command of chinese. So my post was suppose to start with very nice chinese phrases but as i type, i really that i don't know what i'm typing. Sis saw what i typed and started chasing me off the sit and typer her version. Ok, i know hers sounded pro and mine is like primary school compo, but i'm so gonna score an A for chinese. =P

Learning journey was a short but a good one. I really learn a lot from the tour guide as well as the wordings and pictures in the museum. Although the trip was describe as not interesting by Kelvin, i think it's really a great experience. Oh ya, we have had subway for lunch! They don't have the peanut butter cookie there, so i have had double choc instead. Enjoyed the trip with fellow 3/5s. (: We were praised by the tour guide saying that we have got very good school spirit! WOAH! Probably because we were cheering each other on while doing the quiz. Haha. I answered 7 of the question! But i gave away all the lollipops i got. Share the love. (:

We started to slack in school and we actually cheered? LOL. Went cwp with jinger and co. Bought bubble tea and we went foodcourt. I starter lame-ing around. geez.Back to school after that, suppose to attend meeting but started sitting in the hall with jinger waiting to kpo who is the top scorer. Then, waited for seniors to get their result. Congrats people!

Anyway, meeting was cancelled, so jiayi, halim and i decided to slack somewhere then jiayi suggested Halim's place. So we went, and started playing " HELO" . I got dizzy after a while, gave up, then started sleeping. LOL.(P.S. love the huge bean bag. ) After i woke up, i actually was awake enough to play monopoly. HAHA. Halim was the eventual winner but i wasn't the last! Haha. JiaYi was last, but he wasn't really playing as he was controlled by the magic button. He was too engross in helo. Hah. We left at about 6plus. Then i joined teckchuan and co for basketball before going home.

A very not very well planned afternoon but enjoyed the slacking. It have been ages since i last slack like that.Love it.

I just figured it out that coffee works. Actually, i should have know it long ago like since first week of school or something. I have had coffee for breakfast every morning for the first week and it's really like wow, i would be so awake during lessons. I stopped after the first week, not sure why but most probably because i have been waking up late. Haha. So i did had coffee this morning and i did not feel at all sleepy! HOORAY! I need coffee...

Mdm Nora taught Laws of Logarithms today. It was kind of easy though. Then was chemistry. We did the experiment which Ms Fu claimed that it's dangerous. It really is ok. Water start flying out of the boiling tube and stuff. People broke things here and there. I really sympathize the lab staff. They not only have to set up but to clear up the mess students cause as well. Anyway, paired with meroshinni. Our experiments were awesome! Just that we happen to burn some parts of the retort stand while heating. lol.

Terry commented that i sounded funny when i speak chinese. Hah. Anyway, after recess was english and students were picked to present their public speaking speech. Phew~ Thank God that i was not "lucky" enough to be chosen. I wrote mine like in 15 minutes or so. There are craps, and facts which apparently, were made up. I managed to sabo 1 people today. Sabotaging people have been a everyday thing ever since 1st day of school. I don't know why, but i just enjoy the fun out of it. It feels really great when you sabo someone into doing things that no one wants to do. Like present their speech. So 3cheers for sherilyn who was my lucky pick today!

Biology lesson was as usual, just that we moved on to a new chapter today! (:
Managed to get the CNY thing done before going off for Class Committee training. It's really a repeat telecast but the host for this time round is definitely better. Mdm Soh manage to make something which have been repeat telecasting for years interesting. (:

Training was really slack. Did drills and while coach trained the C div, we started playing. WeiWei, Jinger, Peiting and i was challenging each other. We played bullet and i kept on losing. Only to realise that it's very dumb for me to challenge shooting against 2 shooters. HAHA.
Halim walked me home! haha. Thanks man. It's really great to catch up with 2/5 peeps. So i guess i should really meet them more often, provided that i have the time. hah.

Assembly was as "mentally challenging" as ever. My brain was challenged to a point whereby it actually shut off by itself without knowing and only to restart after assembly ended. Maths lesson was really mentally challenging( without " "), no doubt. Then was english lesson then chemistry.

Next was biology lesson and Ms T. told us how our practical file will affect our result as well as teachers' job. It's rather scary and i guess i should really do up my practical files for all subject properly. I don't want to fail it. Then was humanities lesson. I so love SS! Not only the lesson was interesting, it's always funny. With people like eddie, joel,shawn as well as the spying mission we're on. Haha.

After school was match against Singapore Sports School. Score was 12-38. Argh, it could have been better. Our score difference was only 9 after the 2nd quarter. 9!!! It was 9-18 and all of a sudden it became 38. ( P.S. Kelvin, they know magic. ) Anyway, coach said that hengyin and i did well for defence today. 3 cheers! It could have been better if i get the last few passes. SORRY WENZI! Oh ya, Ms Milhan and Ms Fu was there too! Not to mention szeling, chwan rong, ben bey and their friend. (P.S. Szeling, i didn't forget you leh!)

Coach debriefed in SSS before we left. Went 883 with weiwei and hengyin for their dinner and my appetizer. LOL. Headed home after that and it was chiong-ing of homework again! WOOSH!

I'm so sorry that i didn't reply to all the tags. I'm really sick now, but i will try to reply when i get well yea. CIAO.

I'm sitting beside a box of tissue right now, with a really bad flu, terrible cough and a fever of 38.8degree. Mum insist that it's because of the lack of sleep, and sis insist that it's due to too much intake of junk food. Whichever is the cause, i want to get well.

This week have been really busy, with school work as well as training and MainComm meeting. So that explains why i did not blog for the pass few days. So i shall summarise the whole week. Lessons are quite alright and some of the lessons were really funny. I'm beginning to like my new class. Everyone is nice, understanding and 1 most important thing, they share a common thing. Copying off someone else's homework! I need to clarify this, we did not copy on purpose. It's because we don't have enough time to finish homework. We've got maths homework everyday. Get this, it's EVERYDAY! Only Mdm Nora classes have this "privilege". To tell you guys the truth, i'm really envy of the class next door. Trust me, they don't have maths homework everyday. Checked and proven right. Mdm Nora's "Main Course" are being served onto the table real quickly! She claimed that those E-Maths worksheet we did are just appetizer and she've been serving us with main course everyday for this whole week! I'm suffering from indigestion. crap.

Lessons like physics and chemistry are fun though. For chemistry, we were laughing at Ong Chin and James for the specs issue! LOL. For physics, i don't know why the teacher somehow can get the class to laugh here and there throughout the lesson.English lessons are cool too! Not as stress as other lessons, love english lesson, quite relax. But i prefer last year's english lesson! I'm pro Ms Faz!

Well, that's more or less about my lessons of the week. Now, today....
Healthy Lifestyle, the sec 3s did the dance. Let me tell you this, it's like a relaxing session instead of a HL period. We're suppose to exercise, to perspire during HL but the dance ain't making us sweat or exercise at all. The dance steps are sure easy but easy = won't perspire! I prefer last year's aerobics where all the steps are fast, even though we can't get the exact move, we'll try hard to follow. Thus making us exercise and sweat. I did have fun though. I was self high-ing throughout. :D

For the whole day, i've been using tissue tissue and more tissues! I have been coughing and sneezing in class. Flu and cough, right, " nice" combination. So i actually have had a bad time in class today, but not only in class, during recess and after school as well. I was suppose to be absent from school today, i actually intended to just go for the match but realise that i can't miss lessons. So i went. (:

Match against Serangoon. One word: Mentality. Girls, we could have done better, and i mean, we COULD have. Everyone did well, but for the last quarter, we could have done even better than what we did. The last quarter might be the last but never the least. They put in 3 goals for the last quarter and we scored only about 8? It really would have been a better win. 43-8 isn't what we expected and is something we should never expect. I believe that everyone did their best but it's because of the wrong mentality during the last quarter. Jiayou for the next match against SSS. With the right mentality, we will definitely do better.

Before i go off to rest, i need to thank all my loving classmates who sponsored me packs and packs of tissues! Thanks to all who showed concern! Last but definitely not the least, i need to thank Jogina, JiaLing, Debbie,Jelyn ,HuiYi and SzeLing for coming to support even though it ended quite late. Your presence really help boost my morale in one way or another.
Special thanks to God who was there with me during the match today. Who pulled me through despite me being ill and who bless our team. (:

Assembly today is totally crap. Long and boring. Then was Maths lesson, so dread maths lesson. I'm still having the phobia. I want to be immune! Then english lesson was not that bad and nothing much about chemistry lesson.

After recess was bio lesson. YAY! Went to lab and did the experiments on cell. Started off with the cell stated, cheek cell. After that, played around and i started looking for tongue cells! HAHA. It was totally gross but i have beautiful cells! Then, we skipped humans lesson for North Zone tournament. . Common Test is coming and we're skipping lesson. BAD BAD BAD.
I need more time for homework and studies~!

Match against Fuchun was pretty well played at the last quarter. The score was 48-3. We won. (: We could have done better if we played the 1st 3 quarter like the last. They score could've been better, really, so much better if we set up as quick as the last quarter. Anyway, it's over and i think we should really learn our lesson and give our all on friday against Serangoon as well as during trainings. Go team!

After we're back to school, it started to rain. We were not able to leave so HengYin and i went to HengYin's class. Like duh~. I started off doing homework. Manage to finish my maths! Time well spent. (: Then i started playing soccer with taufiq and gerald. Team with Gerald (a team consisting of the reds but different definition.haha.) while HengYin team with Taufiq. Gibson was commenting about our match. Saying that Taufiq very clown and stuff. LOL. After that, Janson sub Hengyin while she went off to somewhere i don't know. Then we change the team from 2 against 2 to 3 against 3. MingYang joined our team while JoonLiang joined Taufiq's team. Playing with them was so funny that we keep on laughing. They actually slided and many other weird table and chairs trick came out too. It's really funny. Good thing i didn't change out from my jersey, because i actually perspire while playing soccer in a space constraint ground. LOL. Walked home with WeiWei and HengYin. =D Oh ya, borrowed HengYin's netball journal and have got a conclusion.

I'm still in the camp mood! Haha. Now and then i'll started doing cheer then somehow, people around me who know the cheer will play along. But definitely not all, cause most of them think i'm crazy over camp. Am i?

I AM! hah.

YAY! I'm like FINALLY blogging. I've been very busy since monday and everyday and i've been trying to sleep early to replenish the amount of sleep i'd lost during camp. Apparently, i'm still feeling lethargic during lesson. I planned to sleep at 8pm on monday and procastinated the sleep till the next day and the day after that, but till today, i've not slept at 8pm. I've been sleeping at 11plus due to the large amount of homework as well as other things to do.That explains why i'm still so tired even though it's after camp. I haven't get back all my sleep!

Monday, everyone gathered at the CCA room corridor near the canteen and cheered for YongLin. Mdm C. spoiled the whole thing. Just in case you don't know, it spells S-P-O-I-L-E-R. Anyway, we'd already finish whatever we'd planned, so it doesn't really matter if she came out that day or not. The next thing we do is go to the canteen and eat. We were very hungry then. After school was training then we went for the Sports Carnival MainComm meeting. Nothing much to comment.

Nothing much to comment about the rest of the days. Actually, it's because i can't remember what i did. LOL. I've been very busy, that's why i'm like only blogging now. Oh ya, yesterday during chinese lesson Mr Du asked us to write down format for chinese compo. So joey and i was copying from a printed format, then he said in mandrain.

Mr Du" Don't copy. Copy you'll get 0."

I replied, " I never copy also get 0."

Whole class started laughing and Mr Du was mentioned integrity in english! LOL Anyway, just realised that he is not fierce. I replied that way and scored 0, he didn't say anything, because, almost the whole class got 0. HAHA. To think we're from the Band 1 class. Anyway, my seat was change because i'm too noisy~! haha. Changed to the back. Seated beside 2 benjamin! Ben Tan on the left and Ben Soh on the right. Haha. During the lesson, i just happen to notice that Ben Soh actually got his pants folded up! Asked him why and he told me it's very warm. HAHA.
P.S. Halim, i told you i ain't jealous of the long pants!

Today healthy lifestyle we did the run. Then was maths lesson, Mdm Nora was not in school today so we've got relief teacher. Then was english lesson followed by bio. After recess was physics. Then bell ring. WHOA! I can't wait for that. haha. I did slept here and there during the lessons. It's not because i'm don't want to listen, it's because i'm really tired. So i've decided to get everything done and sleep the whole weekend to replenish whatever amount of sleep i'd lost. HOHOHO. So ciao!

Secondary One Orientation Camp 2008!

The camp ended today and we officially stepped down from MainComm duties. (: I really enjoyed working together with all the MainComms. Be it during the planning or camp, it's always fun with them. I really got to know each and everyone of them as well as learning from them. Things learnt include things i already know and things i ought to know. It's really great learning from them and it definitely help me be in character or attitude wise.

Things i was reminded about:

1. Do what was said by oneself.

Whatever you'd said, you do. Whatever you command people to do, you do. I think that to be the salt & light , and to teach your sheeps the right thing, you have to do what you say. When you do whatever you say and follow it closely, the others will too.

2. Command and not Demand.

The Boss demand respect, the leader command respect. For some reason or another, i kind of learnt from both demanding as well as commanding. Commanding for respect is hard, that's why most of the time people demand for it. It's hard to command but it can be done. It's the way you do it.

3. A team win and lose together.

A sucessful team, is a team that win for their teammates and never quit; even if they lose. During the camp, some of the groups really reminded me about that quote that a team wins and loses game together. They win it for their team, they stay on for, their team. They cheer each other on, they coorporate with one another. They cheer and give their all even when they didn't win. That is what a team is all about. Win together, lose together. - Teammates.

That's basically camp. Camp objectives: Met. (:

Continue from the last post, i went surfing the net and then realise that the net can't get any more boring than that, we went in to the media room and watched fantastic 4. Haha. I fell asleep while watching. Went to sleep for 1 hour before rise and shine! 1 hour, it's more like a nap.

Then we gathered at parade square as usual for flag raising. MainComm fall in! LOL. Stood in a line directly infront of the podium, so funny la. Then was morning exercise. Then chicken dance! Love it. But morning was kind of cold, was like so cold while doing the dance. haha. Next was the breakfast we'd awaited for long! Love eating. (: Right after breakfast, everyone was like moving chairs and tables and bla to prepare for the station games. It's quite fun though, asking people to go back and restart. HAHA. But be very sure, i'm fair ok, and i'm lenient too. WAHAHA. Then we have had lunch then erm we went for CCA. Suppose to challenge joel and his guys to a match but it rained while i was watching the performance in the hall. LOL. So cancelled.

After we're back from CCA, we started the RS dance. Love it. I always get so high over this kind of funny dances. Haha. Then was teaching of cheers session. Managed to teach everything we need for campfire. Way to go C3! Just in case you don't know, C3 stands for Camp Cheer committee! Haha. Then was flag lowering then dinner! Almost all MainComm rushed through dinner due to the need of preparation.

Campfire was an awesome experience! Got to be the emcee together with Kelvin. The sequence and stuff was changed. We started off badly because GOH arrival was the first thing. That was really shocking and was kind of not sure what to do. But well, managed to get everything done and managed to drag time here and there. HAHA. Taught the campers the a-w-w-w. awww~ while the OGLs speak about their own group. Some of their speech are really touching. It was a job well done by all MainComm!(:

After campfire, i've got 2 duties, toilet duty as well as cheer leading duty. Was asked to go for the cheer leading duty and peiting got vinus to replace me for the other one. Thanks. Next we showered and while eating supepr. We were told that we've got tubs of ice-creams from Ms Milhan and Ms Fu. LOL. It's really big tube. I started challenging people on eating the ice-cream. The highlight of the whole ice-cream eating is when yonglin mixed everything together in his mouth! It was really gross. Then he started mixing the remainders here and there, dirtying the tables, cover and stuff. LOL. Trust me, that wasn't yonglin.

Then we were back to the library. Everyone was gathering around the table in a circle and was discussing about "pcc". I wasn't sure what exactly it was so just said portable cam corder and everyone laughed. LOL. Benson is even worse, Pasir ris community club. -.-" We crapped for very long and till quite late. Everyone went to sleep after that but i didn't feel like sleeping. Played scrabble with yonglin while Tavin and Nickie watched. Tavin fell asleep first then yonglin. Nickie and i went to sleep after realising that they fell asleep. It's very hard to differentiate whether yonglin is asleep or awake. LOL. Sleep at about 3. Was a about 3 hours sleep. So total camp sleeping hour = 4 hour. haha.

Then we woke up at about 6 and went to parade square and yl told us go up and make sure they arrange the tables and chairs back to the correct manner. Was with Jinger and Szeling. Lift-ed,again.Then was national anthem and school song. MainComm as usual, fal in and formed a straight line at the front. Haha. " MainComm fall in!" LOLs. So uniform group style. Next was morning exercise. The stretching exercise followed by chicken dance! Love chicken dance!(:

Next was breakfast and i was asked to entertain the campers, again. haha. We did cheers and the usual stuff. We proceed for room clearing right after that. After room clearing was the PSL talk. While the campers have their PSL talk, we were asked to check every class for correct number or chairs. This time was grouped with Tavin and Kelvin. The EMCEEs! LOL. Move tables and chairs here and there. It was pretty tiring, plus the fact that i didn't have enough sleep, 3 chairs was like so heavy to me then. Hah. After everything was done, it was area cleaning! Lead class 1/6 and 1/8 together with szeling, ben S and Jinkai. It was so so slack. We ended up spending most of our time cheering.HAHA. After area cleaning, we were back to the hall, distribute this and that then Camp was officially declare close by Mdm Soh. OGLs stayed for their debrief while we went to clear up OPS room. While clearing up, we started cheering and cheering and we were still not over with the camp.

We came up with new cheer and siyuan taught us new Gako Frog Hokian Version. It made us laugh like mad. My grandma is rich. LOL

Then we were backed to the hall for MainComm debrief. Terry and i was still so high over camp, haha. Damn high, cheered again and debrief by Mdm Soh.

GOOOOOOOO~ MAINCOMM!

Then almost all the MainComm went macdonald and literally flooded it. There were OGLs too! We did the hungry cheer in mcdonalds anyway, not loudly but just normal speaking volume. We're considerate.(: While eating, we started clapping one another's straw to break it and Donald actually took up Terry's challenge for drinking milo with that straw he broke. Donald won anyway! haha. PRO!

When we were at level one, someone mentioned about today being WeiQin's birthday. So we started calling WeiQin one by one and said the same line.

" Hello, i'm yihui. Happy Birthday! Bye."

Everyone did the same thing. About 15 of us. LOL. One after another. It was so funny la. I think he would only expect until 6 people or so only but never did he realised that it's like 10plus people there. Haha. Walked home together with SzeLing, Ben B, Elaine, SiYuan and Patricia. Thanks SzeLing for walking us all the way there! (:

When i got home, i showered and lied on my bed preparing to sleep when mum came in and told me that we're going out. Right, anytime but this time. So slept in the car all the way to SGH then actually i was too tired to even bother about food but as we walked around, food just make me feel awake. HAH. Went delifrance and was wanting to drink soup but too bad, the soup of the day is corn soup. EWW. Then we started figuring the "letter box" and walked around exploring. Dad's friend joined us for dinner after that and when i was home, i rushed my homework and stuff. It was really tiring. It 's 11plus now, i guess i needa sleep. Cannot take it already. But my homework still undone. I know it's bad. heh.

Apparently, i'm not sleeping at this point of time, 3.25A.M. in the school library. I mean who wants to sleep when you just lie down for 2 hours and have to get up after that. So yup, many of the MainComm are not sleeping. Basically watching movie, using com and doing homework. Haha. So here i am blogging and i guess i needa update it real badly.

I shall start off with Wednesday. First day of school, pretty cool, nothing much and i like my Form Teacher. LOL. Everyone was like asking me if i'm chairperson when they see me. Junkiat's first question online was also about it. Haha. It's really funny.

Class Comm was only decided on Thursday. Vinus is the chair and i'm vice-chair. (:

So thursday was also the first day of studying. It's like the first time in my whole lifetime bringing such heavy books to school looking like a real retard who is trying to bring the whole shelf of books to school. Anyway, lessons were cool. I'm in Band 1 for chinese and everyone was like, "you sure"? That was kind of evil though. So ya, there goes, my chinese teacher is erm you know who. I can't really figure what he's trying to say and i just tried to pretend that i understand because it's already very hard to pretend to understand when you will give him the "huh" face. He actually elaborated 3 simple rules for 15minutes and let us copy chinese stuff. Then joey and i made the class laugh because of the "heading". Trust me, i guess we're so gonna have language barrier.

Then it's about Friday, which just passes. Morning we had morning assembly about healthy lifestyle. Haha. It's way faster and not so boring than the previous 2. It's pretty short and sweet. Like it. Then was lessons. Nothing much. 1 thing i just realised today is that right after recess, we have one more lesson and that's it, LUNCH TIME. Haha. Isn't it cool? Like recess makan already then lunch again.

After school was busy, infact, VERY busy. Needa settle netball stuff, report for MainComm duty as well as passing my books to mummy.

We always self high. -.-" Then we have had dinner. Sec 3s were all in camp mood. Cheer and cheer before dinner. After dinner was kidnap game. FUN! Attached to 1/9b. We were 2nd though. Everyone did well. (: Then blablabla, debrief, shower and blogging. LOL. So i'm done blogging here so i guess i should should fine something on the net to do. So CIAO!

As the countdown reaches zero and when you see the fireworks, it marks the end of 2007 and the start of 2008! People, CG'08 MUST be completed by end of this year! So let's continue to work hard for the kingdom of God and really have faith in him that CG08 will come to pass. Trust in him and put everything unto his hands for he know what we should do better than we do. Certain things might not go right, but it doesn't mean God isn't there. Everything is well planned for us, and everything is the best for us. So let's look forward to 2008, we'll see more souls save and God's kingdom growing from glory to glory.
